No detailed notes taken. Clape Cornas 2021 vs Renaissance 2021. I rated both at 91pts. The more entry level Renaissance was more ready to drink, more expressive with all telltale Northern Rhone aromatics but also a touch light. The Cornas bottling had more substance but was more tightly locked and still with quite some rough edges which have to melt away in the cellar.

During a merchant tasting, no detailed notes. Very young still but with lots of aroma, dark berreis, black pepper, farmyard, . Can add a point from here. Best after 2030.

Tasted at a merchant event, only brief notes: Intense nose with dark berry fruit, but also loads of animal features such as horse saddle and wet fur. Rustic and wild palate. Have no experience with young Clape wines, but this bottle felt weird.
