  Dark and thick.
  Nose of cherries with hints of cedar pencil and black licorice.
  Soft tannins, more cherries, medium weight in the mouth. Long and lingering fruit finish. Probably not getting better but by no means faltering.

  Past its prime. I was hoping for more based upon comments from others, but can't recommend. Smells of gasoline and lacking in any fruit or mineral notes.

  Definitely not a great vintage or LB. But did have a good time with this wine. It could only hold up for a few hours before it decided to prune up and turn, but at the open, and with a touch of air, it was a nice refined claret that was enjoyable by all. Drink up and drink quickly :)
