Disappointingly tannic and unexpressive, even after an hour. Ordered off a restaurant list, possibly a poorly stored bottle, but no apparent signs of seepage. Avoid.

Needs time. Slow ox'ed for 2 hours and drank over the next 2 and it was never ready. Muted nose. The palate has traces of kirsch and red fruits, but not pronounced and perhaps in a a bit of dumb phase? Still a nice drink and (these bottles) should be ready in 2018.

Slow ox'ed for 2 hours. Faint aromas of red fruits. Some earthiness in the palate but overall the fruit was muted. I wanted so badly to like it but in the end it was even a bit thin and a disappointment.

Great wine. Aromatics arent there yet but the palate is robust and delineated with flavors of beef blood and pomegrantes, very juicy and explosive.

Big nose, powerful flavors yet light on its feet. This vintage is a little flabby imo, but its still enjoyable.

This wine is open for business. Nice nose, classic Napa Cab aromas. Palate shows nice fruit with well integrated oak and tannins. Very open and seductive, goes down (too) easily. Long and classy.

Slow to open and by the time it was fully there, most of it was gone. Still, dont think we missed much.

Modestly aromatic. Very rich and lush dark fruit, really tasty. HIghly concentrated cabernet, so much so that it can feel a bit heavy on the palate but with enough acidity to remain thoroughly enjoyable.

Afraid RMP was right about this wine. Im guessing itll get back to its old state at some point, when it was seductive and delicious, but now its just brutally unbalanced and unenjoylble And bc of this, the horsiness shows up too prominently in the nose and onthe palate. Wait a year or two before opening and hope its just a transitional stage.

wet, damp scented nose on open...quickly blew off...into a beautiful fragrance of tar earth and dirty roses. Dark ruby color. V slight sweetness on the attack, somewhat modern/international round body, great concerntration and intensity. Still young. Will it ever develop complexity on the finish...wait 3-5 to try another and find out.

Brooding nose of earth and mushrooms. Not a concentrated wine, but the palate was great! Bigtime saddle leather and earth that lasts... Finish is lip smackingly dry - a mild shortcoming, but not enough to dampen my enthusiasm. Nice Barolo!

This wine is not for me. Very oaky and grapey and primary, but the fruit just wasnt vibrant like other young Aussies - this one had some aged syrah notes. Perhaps an off bottle, but Im not willing to take another chance.

Not a hedonistic wine, but shows a lot of personality. Nose is nothing special, body is light and even mildly thin in the midpalate, but it comes across as elegant - and the finish really makes the wine - powerful and complex. Some strong coffee/expresso notes, mixed with roasted meats and even some tobacco. Very interesting and unusual palate made it a crowd pleaser - tho not at first. Good food wine.

Dark purple color. Nose dominated by blueberries. Very big powerful fruit but the wine is not at all out of balance or hot. Nicely made wine, just not too delicate - not a food wine.
