Mouvedre 55, Cinsault 25, rest Grenache and Syrah. Dark deep, brooding and rich Southern Rhone notes here but with more concentration and weight. This is a big wine in terms of extraction. Full bodied, 14.5% ABV. Dark fruits and tar. Long and complex. Drink now but will last at least another decade.

Classic Mourvèdre nose that is remarkably rich for Migoua at this age. Deep black fruit to the fore, leather, herbs and licqorice. Again classic Mourvèdre palate, medium-rich fruit framed by robust acidity. Fresh and vigorous. Classic.

Great palate, smooth, still some tannin but melts with food, I think this is just hitting it's stride. Winey, balanced, now we're gettin' there...med to med deep maroon, sl cloudy - youthful red-fruited nose with subtle sub-notes of leather; a nice showing.

Made from Mourvedre (50 %), Cinsault (26 %), Grenache (20 %), Syrah (4 %).
Brown-purple and impermeable. Pure bouquet both "sexy" and charming. Dry, med+ acid and tannins, body and intensity. Elegant, pure, persistent, balanced, beautiful texture. Excellent.
Drink or keep.
My notes: red berries, flowers, tobacco, plums, water pipe, yoghurt, meat.

Consistent with previous note. Leaner and more herbal than Tourtine but not lacking fruit and energy.
