La Migoua in all its glory, and maybe why it's my favorite Tempier cuvée (other than the short-lived La Louffe). Fabulous complexity in nose and mouth with dark fruits, fennel, garigue, silky Migoua texture, lightness, intensity. People pay so many multiples more for wines that are nowhere near this good (although a small number that are). Just the wine to lift spirits in this depressing time. The wine is fully mature and probably should be drunk in the coming few years. Cellared since original release.

Dinner with the wine group (Hillside Supper Club): Cork was in good shape. Medium ruby, medium bricking; aromatic, lovely spiced meats, red cherry, complex musk with almost elegant minerals; palate is medium bodied, fully integrated medium tannins, red fruit at full maturity; medium finish. The nose is fantastic, the palate fully mature and possibly fading a touch, but overall superb and one of the best bottles of Tempier that I've had. 93-94
