Licorice, tobacco leaf, chocolate, espresso, black cherries and smoked peppery notes create the perfume. On the palate, the wine is soft, polished, fresh, elegant and fruity with sweetness to the red fruits and a creamy-texture to the finish. The wine blends 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Drink from 2026-2055.

Amsterdam UGCB Tasting (Zuiderkerk): Unusual gravitas and density for the vintage, flowers and cherries, velvety tannins, long finish. A great success.

UGCB tasting-Amsterdam 2021 Bordeaux 03-04-2024: A friendly mix of fruit, and modest vanilla and wood, a fresh and open taste, with a nice citrus core, the medium length aftertaste is in balance.

UGCB Amsterdam, walkaround tasting so just short notes.: Red and dark berries, full bodied, good acidity and bitterness, slightly sticky tannin. Great length. 93+
