(SYP) PNP A subtle nose to begin with. It breathes up nicely to show ripe fruit, barnyard, dried salted plum and wet stone. It has good freshness and fruit and with some acid spikes. With 2 hours of air, it showed notes of leather and smoke, and became more balanced on the palate. Sous bois, teay and racy finish, gaining more sweetness over time

Rhone New and Old World (Prima, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Big, rich, fruity wine, seems weak compared to peers today.
