A baby. Brought to a tasting dinner. Consumed within 1 hour by many. Tannins austere and took over. Hopefully with more time in a decanter or several years in bottle it will balance better.

Needed about 2 hours to come together, but it was very nice once it did. Blueberry and blackberry fruits with just a hint of chocolate, but then bay leaf and thyme herbs and liveliness in the mouth. There’s a nice metallic mineral current and dustiness that elevates this wine to a nice level. Drinking well now, but probably would improve even more with further ageing.

Not bad at all. Still a little tight upon opening, but only needed 30 minutes of air to open. There's no complexity...just blackberries, vanilla, and coconut.
It's not my style per se, but nice every once in a while (drank on Memorial Day). The sticker was $79...not worth it IMO. But to say this is a "bad" wine is being harsh.
Still life left (maybe 5-10 years), but drinking just fine now. 89 points.

Decant and let it breath 2 hours minimum. Could have been corked as it was flat and not that Silver Oak consistent taste.
