Tasted with 98, 99, and 03 Migoua's... second best of the 4... my tasting note was similar though this bottle had none of the hazy lactic cranberry thing (maybe the last bottle had some bacteria thing going on). The wine really felt modern at first then in the decanter started to show some expression of place (decanting really helped it). Like the 99 this had a good balance between fruit and funk, acids/tannins and midpalate weight. This should improve over the next 3-5 years.
