My first 2020 Ridge Geyserville and was a little disappointed in this vintage/bottle. Had alot of unripe fruit and vegetative notes and was a bit more flabby. Per the back label there was an early harvest on this vintage.
Lovely deep black fruits laced with tobacco & vanilla. Lush & luscious palate. Mouthfilling & mouth coating. Young but very open. There is a little bit of alcohol evident on the finish. Very long.

This bottle had a bit of VA lurking in the background and came across as rather simple and mute. It was delicious but lacking in verve and complexity.

I've had more impressive Geyservilles. Maybe this was too young?
