  • Dark purple color, juicy and luscious black & purple fruits. Vanilla & leather are apparent from oak. Medium bodied with low tannins and nice acidity, absolutely wonderful and balanced. We drank this without food and it was dangerously slammable. Great to drink now but will be even better with a few years of age to bring the fruit forwardness and oak into more balance.

  • Crimson in color. 14.5% ABV. 67% Zinfandel, 20% Carignane, 10% Petite Sirah and 3% Mataro. Breathtaking nose of red and black fruits, licorice and pepper. Medium to full body with perfect acidity. There is a concentration and structure here not often seen in field blends. Blackberry, raspberry compote, tobacco and pepper on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish with prominent silky tannins. The best Geyserville in recent memory. Drink over the next decade.

  • Tasted at Wine & Spirits Top 100 NYC. Aged in 22% new American oak, 14.8% ABV. Fruit forward but with bright acidity and a slate-like mineral undertone. Mostly boysenberry and blackberry to me. Some dark florals/violets as well. Needs time in a cool cellar. Probably best between its 5th and 15th birthdays.
