Spectacular well cared for bottle from BERNS steakhouse in my hometown of Tampa. As he always does, the head Somm, Brad, guided us to this gem in Berns’ cellar. Low shoulder fill, super moist cork, came out in wonderfully large chunks. No evidence of any oxidation. Like a smooth 1982 on the nose despite the 49 extra years of age and notes of ceder and dried raspberries on the pallet. Went delightfully well with some American paddlefish black caviar and a chateaubriand 7oz from the kitchen. Would love to do again but unfortunately we drank the last bottle!
