Simple and straightforward bordeaux, this surprised me. More enjoyable than I thought it would be after all this time. Nothing complex happening - easy to sip.

This bottle showed well. Notes of cherries, cassis, and wood, with some of that Bordeaux earth. Improved in the glass, medium bodied, but pretty well balanced, this was better than expected. None of the stewed fruit you sometimes get with the hot '03 vintage.

Nose has black currant, pencil lead, and a little vanilla. Light bodied, black currant, shortish. Fine and balanced acid and tannin. Not showing signs of the heat of the vintage.

Ouff, passédate ici, tertiaire et réduit.
Un peu de fruit encore mais surtout
des feuilles mortes et des chanmpignons.
Mauvaisse celle-ci!

In amazing condition. Notes of cedar and earth, very long finish. Drank over 3 days, still drinking well on 3rd day.
