Blind Tasting 1968-79 Ridge Geyservilles (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Very light color, almost tawny. Pretty nose of tea, roses and a hint of dried cherry. Light bodied with medium acidity. Black tea, sandalwood and cranberry on the palate. On the decline but a graceful one. A wine I'd really like to spend more time with. (my 9th, group's 4th)

Nose - soft, fruitcake and tobacco.
Light tart tobacco-y red fruit, strawberry and cinnamon.
