PnP - perfect cork and fill. Medium red with browning on the edge. First night this was almost undrinkable - intense mineral very tannic and drying on the finish. Magically transformed on day 2 (stored in fridge, corked). Lovely cherry flavors with mineral underpinnings and just a slight drying finish. Quite impressive as Corton often is, but a challenge. Not sure where this goes from here but better vintages of this wine could live for decades.

Coravin fun - Corton (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Savoury, slightly woody; cedar, sweet spice, fruit a little underpowered for the oak component and shows as lightweight; sweet blackberry and blueberry. Juicy, fleshy, clean, again I find the oak is slightly too much for the fruit…it's not an oak bomb by any stretch of the imagination but just a bit out of whack.
