A VERY LIGHT WINE, WITH A CLASSIC AGED BURGUNDY BOUQUET. EARTH TONES, SMOKED STRAWBERRIES. THE CORK WAS COMPLETELY PENETRATED, A BIT OF A LET DOWN IF ONE IS EXPECTING SOMETHING "BIG" OUT OF THE DRC! JUST THE BEAUTIFUL LABEL MADE ME SHIVER, BUT IN THE END, I DON'T THINK I WOULD ORDER IT AGAIN.

(Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echezeaux) Brown red color; earthy, nice, strawberry nose; nice lime, cherry and strawberry palate with a hint of chlorine and good acidity; medium-plus finish (great with our Beef Bourgignon)
