Watching Sunday football on a chilly damp fall day. Doesn't get any better than this to drink this beauty.

A real pleasant surprise. All you would have hoped for in an aged Cali Cab... very Bordeaux like

Perhaps the most complete and fully ready Pahlmeyer I’ve ever had.. had a distinctly Bordelaise style to it with a pleasant but not OTT nose and refined tannins... wow.

Best of the lot I've tasted thus far... Love the tobacco/pencil lead nose which is followed by a warmth of fruit/tannins and a substantial finish

Hints of cedar and lead pencil on nose. Tight on the front palate with great length... This is just pop and pour note so will be interesting to see what happens as I let it get some air.

Not inspiring but very drinkable Cabernet. Like most of the stuff I bought years ago from Russian River Wine.. its good but not great.

Would have given this a much lower score without time to aerate.. first night it was fruit forward and structure seemed lost... Second day it blossomed.. left a glass in decanter for third day and it was equally tasty!

Amazed how NOT old this wine tasted.. needed at least an hour to start waking up... huge tannins still there... just worry there is enough fruit to win the battle...

Luscious in the glass but not an archetypical CDP. Had to reach to find the heat and minerality. But so so smooth and drinkable right now.
