It smells of a rose garden, all black earth, sweet petals and decaying plant matter. The palate is silky and gains depth with air. There’s some liniment, leather, Hoisin and beef stock too. It builds through the palate and finishes with a tart cherry snap.

Subtle tea infused. More so than floral aromatics. Nearly tannin-less. (9959/13984)

Soft and elegant. More delicate than the other DRC '79s but with good poise.
