This wine may change my mind about blends. Pretty color. Aroma of dark fruit and granite. Nice fruit flavor without being too sweet. Very prominent tannins. Would love to open another bottle 6-8 years from now.

During a MOT walkabout tasting, no detailed notes. Still marked by oak, on the light side for a 2019 but having had the 2014 from MAG yesterday, the wines really need 10+ years before showing well.

~4 hours decanted. Dark ruby, on 👃 new bovine belt, dried prunes, cashews. Light structure, fruit tilting nectarines, prunes & oranges, medium tannins, long finish, light alcohol on throat. This is still very young.

-- decanted 15 min. before first taste -- -- tasted non-blind over approx. 3 hours --
NOSE: sweet oak; high-toned; fresh dandelions and potting soil; approachable, but too young (would like to see some of the oak get more integrated).
BODY: medium bodied.
TASTE: bitter, with noticeable oak, but simultaneously approachable; oak calmed down, but did not disappear, over the first 1.75 hrs.; alc. does come through at moments. Prettier than the '20 Latour Martillac the following evening. Fine to drink now if you're o.k. with young Bdx., but I won't be touching either of my remaining two for at least 5 years.

Had for Thanksgiving dinner. Double decanted. This is a nice wine but still way too young. Wait 4-5 years. Well made and promising but still too tannic and austere. Red fruit, concentrated.
Forgot to check my notes or I wouldn’t have opened it, because I said the same thing 14 months ago!
