Drunk over 2 nights, decanted for several hours first night, rebottled and stored under vacuvin.
Slightly muted nose first day, dark cherries, eucalyptus, cigar box. Secondary on the palate, licorice, tobacco, eucalyptus. Fine tannins, medium body, medium acidity, medium finish.
Second night nose was more forward, dark cherries and currant, tobacco, cocoa, coffee. Smoother and more open second night. Extremely fine and supple winem very nice.
Headache the following day though.

Superb! PnP, then left 90 mins in big Bordeaux glasses. Changed massively after these 90 mins. Soft, velvety, nice balance between the fruit and cocoa/coffee aromas. Tannins completely dissolved. Can’t get enough…

07 Giscours Bricky. Leafy and green showing the vintage. Wet tobacco. Red current. Tar and mushroom. Tomato paste, ash. Excellent. Shared at end of year WineGeeks. 94. Drink from now.

Interesting wine - quite ripe and spicy dark fruit, but with a certain finesse and Margaux elegance on the finish to keep it honest. Worth holding onto for a few more years because it needs to settle down a bit more, but I found this a lot better than the 2004 for around the same price.
