  • Opened from a magnum. The wine was in an excellent condition. The nose was very floral with stems, menthol, red fruits, and herbs. The palate had layers with some secondary sweetness, yet it was elegant. It had no signs of coming from a weak vintage. The fact that it was a magnum probably has helped a lot. I would imagine a regular bottle is now over the peak. The wine stayed at the peak for a good 2 hours in the glass. This wine was a pleasant surprise for everyone tonight.
