Opaque dark purple. More open initially, then muted but pure, deep red currant and boysenberry. Not as forthcoming flavor-wise at this point, but lighter red currant with moderate tannins and finish. I anticipate the maturation trajectory will model the richer olfactory expression.

Needed significant decant to start showing, was much better on the second day (after using a pump to pull air out after day one). Floral start with a mix of red and black fruit, cedar after that. Tannin but well integrated, medium finish.

Ripe, and clear and precise fruit to the nose. Across the palate a good streak of acidity and vibrancy. Maybe trying to prove something. Just opened, we shall see.

cheers - I typically let these great wines age a while, but wanted to try this 2020 Giscours from TJs, and happy I did. Wonderful Bordeaux, very well balanced and smooth for such a young age. I have another bottle, but will buy a few more. Excellent value.
