Fully mature nose showed forest floor, mushrooms, tea. Nice clarity on the palate, pure red fruits held up with nicely resolved tannins. Very good.

Now 30 years ago, when I was student of economics in Cologne a friend of mine in those days had plundered the cellar of his grandfather...
Light, translucent red colour. Wonderful scent of raspberries. Light and quite acidic on the palate. Good length but just to austere. Maybe a good compagnon to fish with bold structure (St. Pierre, Monkfish) fried and maybe with some stripes of serrano ham instead of a wooded Chardonnay.
