Quite a lot of graphite on opening, felt like it would come into its own with air and left 3 hours to slow ox. Highly mineral, vibrant texturally, touch of orange rind. However, it never really slipped into 4th gear (or above) and it just felt a tiny bit sullen.
One must admit this was a moderate disappointment and the other two Burgs (MG Eche 2020 and CLB Reignots 17) were the better bottles by quite a margin this evening. Seems like you want to hold this for 15 years, definitely based on this bottle experience (perfect provenance coming from DRC cellars and only moved next door) you do not want to pop a cork now or anytime soon!

Open immediately - floral, expressive and good length. A little spice but still fruit driven with red fruits dominant. Finesse on the nose. Absolutely enjoyable now.

Flower day. DRC nose, dark berries and spice on the palate. Very long finish but a bit lacking in intensity

Gorgeous nose, fruit and still present fine grained tannins but starting to drink. Will only get better with more cellaring.
