Dinner at Eric's with Roland and Mr. Y: tight and restrained nose to start with. a lot more expressive after decanting. lovely nose of sweet earth and dark fruits. doesn't have the richness or complexity of better vintages but still very enjoyable.
Third of three Red Burgundy tasted, lovely rich brick red color in the glass, nose of sweet/sour cherry fruit, more of the same on the palate, sour cherry flavor was overwhelming for me, opened slowly on the nose, great viscosity and legs in the glass, too much acid for me.
