Tasted February 15,2008 at Lake Louise Post Hotel Yquem tasting. This was amazing. With a very deep amber colour (almost red), the bouquet was filled with caramel and strong prune smells. The wine was incredibly smooth and was very much still alive. Just spectacular. TRhe grapes for this wine were picked on August 15, August 28-September 4, September 14-17, September 24-29 and finally October 5.
