Last tasted 8 years ago. Double decanted. Similar notes now. Dark in color. Very aromatic from the get go. Stems, sou bois, spice. A very structured wine. Slightly lean. Still some tannins poking through. My only criticism would be that I would like to see a bit more fruit to balance out the tannin and acid...fruit is there but seems to be hiding a bit. More time??

Gorgeous aromatics. Huge florals. Some green stalks keep it quite young although there is development and maturity as well. Still a relatively robust red Burgundy but with very elegant nuances. Highly expressive showing and clearly a perfect bottle well stored. Didn't really take notes and just enjoyed with company. Terrific and easily worth the purchase of the list.

Initially some rubbery scent and stems on the nose. Earth and some floral perfume with a touch of black pepper. Quite tannic. Decanted to try to open it up. The nose became more expressive but the palate shut down with time.

Somewhat muted aromatics. Tart red fruit, no rusticity. (6520/12060)
