  While the rest of the group chose this tonight as their favorite of the '91 LaLa trio, I demurred. It seemed a little blurry. Arguably too tannic for the fruit as well. Got better with air but a third place showing for me.

  This is a magnificent as well as powerful vintage of La Mouline that is showing so well now although there is further development ahead. Deep woodsy flavors of campfire char and smoked meats with still vibrant black fruits and great intensity and verve. The finish is a kaleidoscope of complexity with notes of warm asphalt and dark minerals. Really breathtaking and it may still improve from here! 98+

  Le meilleur vin bu cette année !!!! Quelle gigantesque cuvée...Chapeau bas
  C'est un véritable festival d'arômes qui se succèdent dans une intensité grandiose: olive noire,violette,lard fumé,cassis,mûre,épices douces bref la totale quelle complexité gustative.La bouche est phénoménale d'une suavité exceptionnelle,d'une longueur magnifique qui dépasse les 10 caudalies,dans un équilibre parfait entre acidité,tanins et alcool.On reste pantois devant un tel chef d'oeuvre....Chapeau bas à Marcel Guigal d'avoir engendré ce vin hors norme !!!!
