Pichon Lalande Dinner (Racquet Club - Chicago IL): Very top shoulder fill, perfect color. Enchanting aromas when first poured, with cigarbox, cassis and cooked mushroom. Similar flavors but less intense. This was best when first poured, then gradually declined, but in an evolving, non-linear and complex manner.

This was a pleasant surprise. Popped and poured. Nose: Earth and snuff. Palate: Still some red berries, muscat, white pepper. Lean to medium body. Some tannins, medium aftertaste.

Pichon Lalande Tasting: (VTS fill, did not get the negociant, Adouzed for 2 hours).Fantastic nose, deep fruit, gun powder and barnyard, dark fruit, mineral, and very complex. Strangely enough, a very different animal in the mouth, thinning fruit, elegant, tart, some green, atypical 45. Overall 92p, nose: 97p

Richter Raritäten Degu (Restaurant Farnsburg, Switzerland): Out of magnum. This wine has some chocolat, esprosso and coffee eclair. But most importantly it is metallic as hell, as one taster said it feels like a "full area tongue piercing" some geranium notes.
What a shame...
